Our First Glitch

We have started getting used to things running smoothly. Too smoothly...

American style.

Yesterday we were reminded that we are in Latin America, where things take a little longer, don't work as precisely, and schedules aren't quite as accurate. It's a world that teaches you to slow down and relax, or drives you crazy.

The psychologist was supposed to be here at 9:30 yesterday morning for our second and final home visit before finalizing the adoption today. Our lawyer's office called at 9:45. Something came up. She will be here today. The adoption will be finalized tomorrow.

Our family chose to slow down and relax, and walk to the market...
